End of an Era

Topshop designer Kate Moss has been ditched by Sir Philip Green, meaning this season's collection is her last for the cult chain. (Cue sobs and sighs of disbelief from all the Bright Young Things who worshipped her designs.) It seems like a shock, but in hindsight, we all saw the signs: previously, Kate designed about 6 collections a year, however recently this number has significantly decreased.

Clothes from the summer 2010 collection by Kate Moss.
The epitomy of boho-chic, her designs were revered by businesswomen and teenagers alike, yet her luxe items were not to everyones taste; according to Green, her clothes now only do 'Ok' as opposed to 'Outstanding.' And when your shop is none other than the highstreet guru itself, 'Ok' is not ok enough.
